In the fall of 2015, the Governor’s Mansion was contacted by Mrs. Jayne Jackson, of Little Rock, regarding a collection of Waterford crystal that she wished to donate to the Governor’s Mansion Association. The 147-piece Waterford collection is valued at approximately $250,000 and was received by Governor Asa Hutchinson and First Lady Susan Hutchinson in 2016.  It was officially placed on public display during the fall 2017, after construction of custom cabinetry to store the collection was completed.  A ceremony celebrating Mrs. Jackson’s generous donation was held at the Mansion on March 14, 2018.   Public viewing of the Waterford collection is available by appointment only on regularly scheduled public tour dates.  More information on public tour dates is available online at www.friendsofthemansion.org, or by calling the Mansion at 501-324-9805.
